Julian has designed and engineered a wide range of high profile projects encompassing theatre, television, music, corporate and special events.

Julian cut his teeth touring new acts for record labels such as EMI, London Records and Chrysalis. He then started a long association with the South Bank Centre as a senior sound engineer working on and designing many of their special events and regular festivals including Meltdown, Rhythm Sticks, Ether and Dance Umbrella. Alongside his work at the South Bank he also designed & worked on major events for the British Olympic Association, the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC

Julian also continued touring whenever he could working for major artists such as: Sting, Bobby McFerrin, Booker T & the MG’s, Courtney Pine, Stuart Copeland & the composer Michael Nyman.

Most recently Julian has designed the surround sound for a production of Phillip Pullman’s His Dark Materials, the aftershow party for the BAFTA Awards 2010 and Beating Retreat for H.M. Household Division.
